Plaided Pattern with a Pop

A store I have always been a fan of is Zara -- and not just because I think the prices are fair (and even more fair when they have their "end of the season sale"), but how simple yet elegant their pieces are. Honestly, Zara's designs are targeted for that "tall skinny girl with no boobs" -- something I am not -- but there are lots of pieces that work for other body types too, if you play with sizes and try things on.

I usually go when they have a sale because -- why wouldn't I? :) I fall in love with all kinds of pieces that I find, but I always try them on -- this usually leads to a process of elimination and saves me money. I tend to be drawn to Zara's dress collection -- mainly the fit and flared designs. The way it sits on the body is amazing. Simple yet so elegant. I found this plaid patterned dress last year but didn't get a chance to wear it much. I enjoy the fact that plaid is a pattern that can go a long way. The amazing deep brown tone in the dress, along with the yellow, made it an absolute win because it's perfect for the fall and winter since it's so nice in California during that time. I also found these amazing two tone red heels-- not as high as I usually like them, but perfect to run around in while still looking chic. What amazing finds do you get at Zara?
