Raw and Cool for the Summer

Learning to not always wear denim shorts and a t-shirt (aka the Cali uniform), can be hard to get away from. Trying different fits really makes me think of how to make it work.
I chose to wear a denim pencil skirt -- I love how pencil skirts just hit every curve in the right way. Denim is something that never goes out of style. I feel when you buy denim you're really investing into your wardrobe. I added a sleeveless top that added a pop of color. I went for a more rare, cool summer touch. How do you rock rare and cool in the summer?
